Saddle Blazer Half Marathon Training Day 1

I am finally back out on the street after several days of feeling sick and sorry for myself. I was little worried heading out the door that I had taken in a littttllleee too much coffee, but it turned out alright.  I kept it to a short 2.8 miles.  I know that the low mileage was necessary after being out for almost two weeks, but I really dislike these short distances.  I never really like I get my legs under me until after mile three.  So it was burny lungs and misery almost from start to finish. However, my spotify showed up in a big spot with Eye of the Tiger during the last half mile.

Gear: black stretchy runny belt, Samsung S8 phone, unidentifiable headphones
Clothes: Walmart
Shoes:  Saucony Cohesion 9s,

Knitting: I am working on a classic watch cap to go with the baktus I just finished.  The yarn is some blue variegated redheart, that I bought a million years ago when I still shopped at hobby lobby.  I have been going to through my yarn stash and trying to find projects for forgotten balls and skeins.
